PICCOLA'S AGRICULTURE ADVISORY MEETING TO FEATURE DISCUSSION ON THE AVIAN
FLU
HARRISBURG – State Senator Jeffrey Piccola (R-15) will host his Agriculture
Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, December 12th at 7:30 a.m. at the Dauphin
County Agriculture and Natural Resources Center located t 1451 Peters Mountain
Road in Middle Paxton Township.
Registration for the meeting will begin at 7:15 a.m. followed by breakfast at
7:30 a.m. Following breakfast, there will be a panel discussion regarding the
Avian Flu, its potential impact on the poultry industry, and related agriculture
issues. The panel discussion will be led by professionals representing the
perspectives of government, academia, the poultry industry, and other
agricultural interests. Following the panel discussion, the floor will be open
for a question and answer period.

Piccola maintains four citizen advisory committees in an effort to stay in
touch with constituent concerns and share information with the citizens of
Dauphin and York Counties. The Agriculture, Business, Sportsmen's and Veterans'
Advisory Committees meet on a regular basis throughout the 15th Senatorial
