Education Committee to Hold Hearing on "Passing the Trash" Legislation
HARRISBURG – The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on
Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Hearing Room #1/North Office
Building on Senate Bill 1381, legislation sponsored by Senator Anthony
Williams and intended to prevent all school employees with a history of
misconduct from moving from one school to another. The bill would create a
new employment review for certified and non-certified educators and other
prospective employees in school entities who have direct contact with
children.
